Convatec Privacy Centre

Notice to our customers:

Keeping your personal information safe and secure is our top priority. That’s why we want to notify you of some changes to our privacy policy in readiness for the introduction of the new data protection law on 25 May 2018.

The changes don’t alter what we use your personal information for, but make it easier for you to find out how we use and protect your information. The fact that the law is changing only builds on what we already do today – and that is to give your personal information the respect and security it deserves. You can access the new policy here.

Your privacy is important to us

When you share your information with Convatec you trust us with your information  – and that’s a responsibility we take very seriously. Our privacy policy spells out exactly what data we collect and how we use it.

What personal information do you collect about me and when?

This will vary depending on how you interact with us. For instance, if you are a customer, the data we collect might be different from that of someone who shows an interest in joining us. This could include:

Some of this information includes:

  • Your contact details
  • Date of birth
  • Credit card, debit card and/or other payment information
  • Details of the products/ services you’ve bought from us, when and how you use them

This is collected when you: register for or buy a service from us, set up your MyEE account, download and use one of our apps, visit or browse our website, or enter a prize promotion (whether online or in store). This isn’t an exhaustive list, so read our privacy policy for more information.

Why do you collect personal information from me?

  • Manage your account and provide you with service, products and support
  • Collect payment from you and send important information
  • Understand what you are interested in and keep you up to date with our latest offers

Who do you share my data with?

We’ll sometimes need to share information with third parties to perform services on our behalf or to provide services to you. For example, when you join EE we’ll need to complete a credit check and ask organisations such as Experian and Equifax to help us.

We may also share information with other companies within the BT Group who may help us to provide you with a service. For example, if you get access to the BT Sport app with your EE mobile plan, we’ll need to tell BT your telephone number so that they know you’re eligible to access the app.

If I think the personal information you hold about me is incorrect, how do I get you to change it?

You can ask us to correct, update or complete your personal information by completing an online form.

Visit our privacy policy for details on how to do this.
